OE vs Hurlingham Club
The Old Etonian Padel team seemingly timed their fixture with precision against the Hurlingham club to coincide with the very hottest day of this year. It was no surprise that bodies were already near broken as players completed their first round of matches before the three pairs shuffled around for their next game. A couple…
OE vs Londonderry
Following some convincing wins in previous rounds without dropping a match, the OEs were up against it against Millfield in the final. This was the first time we met them in the final since 2015. First up was number 5 James Sandwith, who lost a tight match 2-3 which had plenty of quality moments and tension, including à…

First stop was The Hyde, outside…

OE vs School (Hanson Cup) – 2025
The two annual tennis fixtures against the School, that together make up the Hanson Cup, were once again hugely successful and well-attended. The first leg on 20 May, usually held at The Queen’s Club, was this year played at the Eton courts with supper afterwards at The Boatman in Windsor. The keeper of tennis, Marcus…
OE vs Oxford University – Oct 2024
Sadly this year, the OE’s returned to a habit of years bygone – defeat at the hands of Oxford. It was however a battling defeat, and much closer than the overall 4-1 scoreline would suggest. Much like the recent GB defeat to New Zealand in the America’s cup, Oxford built up a commanding lead that…
